Why we do this
Flemish schools have been dependent for twenty years on a single supplier with a slow UI, one-sided pricing and dismal innovation velocity. Education deserves better.
Meanwhile, international SIS products (Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams for Education, PowerSchool) don't fit Flemish reality — no learning outcomes corpus, no class-label parser for the Belgian system, no AgODi ministry integration.
There was a gap. We're filling it.
How we work
Small team, high quality. One senior engineer (Stijn) until we hit 20 paying schools — then a second developer and an onboarding engineer.
Direct access to the team that builds, implements and supports the product. Short lines, honest answers and no sales theatre.
Open about what works today and what still needs preparation. We would rather deliver a calm, correct go-live than a dazzling demo without school-side support.
What we believe
Education data must stay in Europe. No exceptions, no "but it's also hosted in Ireland".
Students under 12 deserve a separate protection layer. No direct DMs between adults and children — communication always via the parent.
A good school platform helps teachers teach — it's not an administrative tower they have to climb.
Open standard formats (CSV, JSON, ICS) are a form of respect for the school. Licence-based lock-in is laziness.
